Just a woman in her mid 20's navigating life
Last week reality set in that Mother's Day wasn't far away and I hadn't even given it a second thought. Luckily Ocean Retail Park, Portsmouth allowed me the pleasure of browsing their small, but useful selection of shops. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Valentine's or Easter...I think we can all agree that Mother's Day is a day to celebrate.
I sound like a bloody owl when I say twenty two by twenty two, but with my twenty second birthday less than six months away, I thought I'd put together a list of all the things I want to achieve...maybe I should start with realising I'm getting old. It's crazy to think that in January I hit the big 2-1 and now I'm about to be able to sing 22 for an entire year and HOPEFULLY relate to it.
It's amazing how a specific scent or smell can bring back memories from a certain period of your life. Sometimes it's memories of a person, and other times it's just a memory of an event...I know whenever I smell an Impulse body spray it brings back memories of getting changed after PE, and how we used to all share the same body spray amoungst friends.
If you haven't heard of Zoella or Zoe Sugg then you must have been living under a rock, she's basically the queen of the internet who also has her own beauty and lifestyle ranges.
I've lost count of the amount of blog posts or Youtube videos I've watched on the hunt for the optimal way to achieve a perfect base, and all have fallen short of my expectations....until now.
Snow is falling all around me...well okay more like rain since obviously it's England and we rarely get snow. However, I was lucky enough to win two tickets to the Zoella Winter Wonderland in London...where there was an inflatable snow globe, so I did get the chance to feel like it was snowing.
You know that dolphin like feeling you get from a really good shave with a brand new razor? Well with Friction Free Shaving you can have that feeling every time for as little as £5 a month.
Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing. - Theodore Roosevelt
First of all, where did July go? Second, of all, I thought it was meant to be August...why is it raining as I'm writing this?
