5 Thoughts You Have During Casual Sex

EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD IS ABOUT SEX EXCEPT SEX. SEX IS ABOUT POWER

Grab a cuppa because we’re about to talk about all things casual sex. So this isn’t the first time I’ve spoken about sex on my blog, although it has been a while (although if you want to read more sex, relationship and dating posts them you want to go here) but it’s something I love to talk about and while I won’t go into the depths of my own sex life…that’s private between Sam and I. I am more than happy to talk about sex in general and in particular casual sex. At university hookups, friends with benefits and random flings are “the norm” and while nobody says you have to get involved and participate, sometimes it happens without even realising it. I know I did, and in honestly for me, it helped me grow as a person and find enjoyment in sex, and it was quite nice to have a helping hand for once with no strings attached.

Sure casual sex isn’t for everyone and nobody should try and force you into casual sex, I was very much against it until I tried it. Now I’m in a relationship again though I’m not sure I’d go back to having casual sex, for me, it’s better with someone I love than the cutie from the bar that, while he may be cute…thinks the clitoris is a Pokemon.

Now I must say the inspiration for this post came from the lovely Vix Meldrew and the multiple posts she has done about thoughts while performing sexual actions (blowjobs, butt stuffanal and oral to name a few) but instead of focussing on a specific sexual act I thought I’d do 5 Thoughts You Have During Casual Sex. Now I’m going to put a disclosure that this is the view of a man and women having casual sex, but I’m sure people all have similar thoughts no matter their sexuality.

DID I REMEMBER TO SHAVE?

Obviously, this thought only applies if you do shave, but I know I’m personally super lazy in my relationship now and only shave if I feel like it…or when the growth gets too itchy and I can’t deal with it anymore. I remember when I was having a spot of casual sex I’d always worry about if I’d shaven or if I’d missed some hair etc, but honestly, 9/10 times guys don’t care if you’ve got hair…they’re just happy to be getting laid.

WHAT IF HE DOESN’T HAVE ANY CONDOMS

Now whether you’re on birth control or not, you want to be using a condom as well…nobody wants a night of mediocre sex which leaves them with an itchy vag. While female birth control prevents pregnancy, only condoms prevent unwanted STIs and STDs. No glove no love. I normally have my own condoms so I’m not relying on a guy to have them…but if he refuses to wear one then get outta there girl. It’s just not worth the risk at all.

WHAT IF HE DOESN’T RECIPROCATE?

If he wants you to go down on you, he should return the favour. Sex isn’t a one person job…that’s called masturbation and if you wanted to do that you’d be in the comfort of your own home and know exactly what turns you on rather than having a stranger poking at you like you’re a piece of meat. If you do end up with a guy that refuses to reciprocate, then honey delete his number and find someone that will. After all, he’s the one missing out on a feast…they don’t call it eating out for no reason.

HOW DO I KNOW HE DOESN’T HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?

There’s not really any way to know for certain, you’ve just got hope he’s a good guy that’s actually single and isn’t planning on making you his side chick. You could always try stalking him on social media, but other than that there’s nothing you can do. Obviously, if you do find out post-sex if he has a girlfriend then it’s up to you if you tell her that her man’s a cheat or if you just keep quiet. I know I’d totally have to tell the girl…nobody deserves to be cheated on.

IS HE JUST REALLY GOOD IN BED OR AM I CATCHING FEELINGS

Now, this is more a thought you might have if you’ve been hooking up with someone for a while and might possibly have a friend with benefits relationship with them. The only thing you can really do is lay your cards on the table and see what the other party says, if he doesn’t feel the same way then I’d probably say to cut strings in case you are falling for him…after all you don’t want to get hurt by a guy that only wants you for sex.
