“Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and caldron bubble.”
Halloween has always been an occasion I enjoyed, whether I was out trick or treating or attending parties…I love using it as a time to get dressed up and play around with my makeup. I’ve always been someone that goes for more of a ‘cute’ halloween look opposed to scary. I’ve attempted sexy a couple of times but when you’re 5’2 and have hamster cheeks, sexy just doesn’t seem to work very well.
This Halloween Boohoo challenged me to style and outfit from their Halloween range sadly I’m not actually going to be heading out for Halloween tonight, however I have had good fun putting this outfit together and decided to let you into the plans I actually have for this spooky evening.

Gather All The Snacks
So if I’m not going to be drinking all the alcohol…obviously I’m going to be collecting all the snacks. I do wish I’d allowed some time today to bake some skeleton cookies or don’t something spooky to the scrambled egg I had for lunch…next year I might add some food colouring into them. Since I’ve only recently moved into the area, I wasn’t sure what it was like for trick or treaters but I’ve heard a lot of children outside so I’m kind of regretting not getting any candy in since I always used to love going trick or treating.
Netflix
It’s actually been a hot minute since I scrolled through Netflix and this evening I was extremely surprised to discover they’d added quite a few decent horror movies onto their selection. I love a good horror movie and I always have done, even when I was little I used to always watch horror films with my sister (even if it was from behind my hands). There’s just something about getting scared that I ABSOLUTELY ADORE…I promise I’m not a psychopath, I just love the adrenaline rush it gives me. Although I do always end up watching cheesy youtube videos afterwards so I sleep well.
Spooky Sing-Along
Obviously what better way to get rid of post horror movie fear than having a spooky Halloween song sing-along? That’s the whole point of songs like Monster Mash, and the entire Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack. Also can’t forget classics like the Rocky Horror soundtrack. I love a good sing-along and will find any excuse to have one…even if it’s a quiet one because it’s actually stupidly late and I don’t want to wake my housemates up!

I feel like I’ve missed out on a lot of Halloween content I wanted to create, but alas there’s no point dwelling in the past. I’ve enjoyed sitting down and writing this post, and I’m hoping to get cracking on a few more this evening…maybe I’ll even be posting regularly again after a couple of months away.
What spooky things are you up to tonight?
Love you lots like jelly tots x
